Chef Boy Ardee-- Con Agra Foods Informative - Cheese Raviola No Meat No Longer Available

Review by flinty on 2010-12-19
LITTLEROCK, ARKANSAS -- From the time of being a child to an adult I used to be able to go to a grocery store and purchase chef boy ardee products without worrying about them puting meat or hamburger in my raviola, now I cannot go buy these products and was told at Krogers and Walmart stores, the manufacturer chef boy ardees and con agra foods are now not distributing these items.

Hey I just want to eat raviola without having hamburger shoved down my throat I was raised up to eat a certain way and its just hard to go shopping anymore please help I called chef boy ardee and all I ever get is a useless automated recording..

Check out the fresh pasta section at your local grocery store - it is normally in the refrigerated section by the cheeses. I have found several vegetarian options there like cheese or pesto filled pastas. All you have to do is boil them for a few minutes and add olive oil or pasta sauce from a jar.

It does cost a bit more to eat this way, but I find the better taste is worth the extra $$$.

That's what I use also ben. You never know what you're getting with that red sauce in the can. I even went out to a restaurant and ordered eggplant parm and the sauce had meat in it. I didn't notice it either. It was gooooood!

There are always cheese raviolis in the freezer section too. Just a suggestion.

There is an organic cheese ravioli that I really like. I can't remember the brand, but it's available in all grocery stores here in AZ. It's expensive, but you pay more for organic. Lean Cuisine's is good too

You should write to ConAgra or contact them via their website. They are very good at responding. As far as I know, Chef Boyardee cheese ravioli is still available in my supermarket. I always have them on hand because my son eats it cold right out of the can. (Don't ask.) I don't like the ones with meat either.
