Dish Network Complaint - DishNetwork Bad Business Practices
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Almost everything bad that's been said about DishNet have been said, but I just want to add my 3cents as well to try to help convince others to stay away from the company. We signed a 2 year contract, and 6 months later I was laid off from work. As a result of this we had put our service on vacation mode. After finding a job again a month later, we reactivated the service. Because we put our service on vacation for that 1 month they voided the $15 discount for the first year. Customer service could have warned us about that when we called to have this done. The fine print was deceiving even though they referred us to it as their way out.
The other biggest complaint is their customer service and billing sucks. They bill you ahead, which is part of the reason why your bill always get messsed up! When you call customer service they always tell you that it should resolved on the next bill, but you'll always to call again bill after bill!!!
Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!
