Ashley Furniture Complaint - No Sleep - 5 Piece Bedroom Set
CATONSVILLE, MARYLAND -- I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture in September 2010, for 3048.00. When the delivery people arrived they put the bed together in less than 15 minutes. I have a king size bed I asked them if they had put it together properly and they stated that they do this all the time. on 12/05/2010 my bed rail broke and now my bed sits at a slant! I called Ashley to notify them of the issue that asked me if I could take a picture of the damage and e-mail it to them. Otherwise I would have to wait for an adjuster to come out. The adjuster came out a week later on 12/14/2010. The adjuster assessed the damages and told me that they have had several issues/complaints of this nature. I received a call on 12/16/2010 from Ashley Furniture saying that they will be out to fix my rails on 12/19/2010 between 1pm and 5pm. I called Ashley at 5pm cause no one had showed yet and I was told my customer service that they are running behind and to give them 15 more minutes. I waited until 5:30 PM and I had another appointment to be at. I finally get a call around 6pm saying that they were 10 minutes away from my home! Unbelievable! After going round and round with customer service I have yet to get my bed fixed. This is such a horrible experience. Please, Please do not purchase anything from Ashley furniture. They have basically stolen my money so I am out of 3048.00 and a bed to sleep in.
