Japan Airlines Complaint - Stranded Passenger
My wife was scheduled for a 3 month tour in the greater Manila area so we booked her for a round trip SFO to MNL through Narita via JAL. A couple of her shows were rescheduled so we rebooked her for an earlier return. It was only then that the JAL agent disclosed that they decided to discontinue service from Narita to SFO. As it turns out, she will now have to collect her baggage from the carousel at Narita, go through customs, immigration, find and pay for transportation, inch through Tokyo rush hour traffic, only to check-in all over again at Haneda. Did JAL attempt to contact us about this change? No. Has JAL offered a shuttle service for their affected passengers? No. Does JAL care? Apparently not. Will we ever book with JAL again? Not if swimming is an option.
