NorthAmerican Bancard Complaint - Horror Story
The salesman promised that their fees would always be less than the credit card processor that I was using when he showed up. Lie..They were always higher.
The salesman promised to bring me a copy of the contract. He never did.
When I sold my business, I called Customer Service and informed them. A manager asked if I would return the equipment and be willing to pay a $500 early cancellation fee. I agreed. The manager told me not to return the equipment until I received return instructions from them and I would be billed for the fee. After 6 weeks, I had received no return instructions and had not been billed for the fee. I called again and was told by a manager that the request would be resubmitted. The promised information and billing was never received. The next thing I heard was from their enforcer, Commercial Services Group, a debt collection service which demanded in excess of $1500. I tried to resolve the issue with NorthAmerican Bancard and was told I had to deal with the collection agency. I called the agency, was threatened, yelled at and it was suggested I was a liar. I sent NorthAmerican Bancard an email that they claim to always respond to and asked for the shipping info so I could return the equipment. I got no response. I have sent the equipment and early cancellation fee to a company manager whose address I found on their website. Although I have not received delivery confirmation yet, I wonder what grief they will continue to impose.
