Wachovia/Wells Fargo Complaint - Get Your Money and Run
EVERYCITE -- Recently, I deposited a large insurance check to my account. After the money was made available, I used it, some large payments and some small. IMMEDIATEDLY Wachovia Fraud department put a 10-day hold on the account, claiming that maybe some "irregular, fraudulent, unauthorized" posts "might" have been charged to my account. And, this is right before the holidays. Trust me, I check my account enough to know whether or not I have "unauthorized, fraudulent, or irregular" charges to my account.
After several attempts of trying to get to the heart of the matter, they made some bogus claim that the insurance deposited appeared to be fraudulent. I contacted the insurance company and was notified that the check cleared on the VERY next day after I deposited it.
Wachovia and its subsidiaries DO NOT care about its customers. They never take into consideration that a person NEEDS money to live - eat, get to work, etc. I understand them putting a hold on the insurance check, but they put a hold on my entire account, including my recently deposited paycheck. As soon as this debacle is over, I'm going to take my MONEY and RUN!!
