Amerigas Complaint - Poor service and unreliable - gas and tank delivery

gas and tank delivery - Complaint
Review by fube on 2010-12-21
I was looking for a cheaper gas company and Amerigas offered a good price so I took the bait. I paid for the gas a month a head and still no gas and no tank. the first guy came twice and still no gas and no tank because I live on a hill. the third time a guy came to look at the job and said it was no problem and then he left and came back a bout a week later. still no gas and no hot water. He finally came and here it is about 5 or six months later and I am out of gas. They told me to call when my tank was at 30 percent. I call at that point and they told me they would be here in 7 days, well here it is 10 days and I am at about 1 percent. they told me if my tank ran out there would be a additional charge of around 125 dollars to do a test of some kind. Here I am still waiting to be left in the cold. Amerigas is a bad choice.

I am assuming by now Amerigas has lost you as a customer and their competition has gained one.

Amerigas finally came on the 11th day about 6:30 in the evening. My tank was on 0 but the heat was still on.I forgot to tell you when you sign on with amergas i think i had to sign a 3 year contract.A week later i got a 210 dollar bill for emergency gas service on top of the cost of the fuel .What a joke

I'd tell them where they could stick the $210 bill and their contract. Politely, of course. They have probably breached the contract somewhere if you read it carefully.

Time to file divorce papers with these jerk-weeds.
