Quest Diagnostics Complaint - The worst customer service ever
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA -- If I didn't experience it for myself, I would have thought it was a joke. There were 10-15 people in the waiting room sitting on old, dirty chairs. The woman behind the counter looked puzzled at my question as if to say, "Oh, you mean I'm supposed to be looking at this sign-in sheet?". She looked at it and noticed that there were people whose appointments were 30 minutes - 1.5 hours ago who had not yet been seen. Then she couldn't understand the abbreviations my doctor used for two of the tests ordered. I told her what they stood for. She said, "I don't care what YOU think, I need it to be confirmed by the doctor." She was unable to do this and apparently nobody onsite understands common abbreviations for the tests they perform. 30 minutes after my appt. time I left with no blood drawn, only to return in the future when a more competent person is present. I fear with Quest, this might be never.
