Target Complaint - Very Very Very poor service
I ordered a collage picture frame in the first few days of December 2010. The frame arrived several days later than the last day of the estimated delivery date, and it was the wrong item. I called them about it, they said they would send a replacement. I told them it needed to be sent quickly and I did not want to be charged for the shipping. They told me it would arrive at the earliest on Dec. 17, and at the latest, Dec. 20. Today is December 22. When I called about the original order being wrong, I was put on hold to wait for a supervisor, then I was told the supervisor was not available. I called twice today, I was put on hold both times to wait for the supervisor and told both time the supervisor was not available. And now I am told the frame's estimated delivery date is Dec. 24 to Dec. 27. This means I most likely will not receive this frame in time for Christmas. Yet I originally ordered this item somewhere between Dec. 2 and Dec. 6. The other reason why this is so upsetting is it is for my fiance, who just lost his father to brain cancer this August. This collage frame was going to have photos of him, his father, and his family - photos that my fiance does not yet even have. This is his first Christmas without his father. This gift was going to mean the world to him. And now, because of Target's horrendous customer service and lack of concern for fixing their mistakes, my fiance's Christmas is going to be that much less meaningful. Thank you Target, for preventing me from doing something to support my fiance, to help him through his first Christmas without his father, to help him feel like his father is still part of the holiday season.
