Time Warner Cable Complaint - Time Warner Cable $4.99 "downgrade fee" rip off
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- TW Cable Los Angeles insisted on charging me a gouging $4.99 "downgrade fee" when I had to cancel my subscription to HBO due to financial difficulties. The customer service representative was rude and arrogant and could not care less about taking advantage of someone who was experiencing hardship. I asked to have the fee waived and she absolutely refused. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she rudely said, "everything costs! and a supervisor won't tell you any different!" Everything costs? Are you kidding? DROPPING A SERVICE COSTS MONEY? Good to know how gouging Time Warner Cable is so I don't have to even consider one of their so-called money saving bundles with Internet, etc. If this is the way they treat long term customers in the midst of a crippling recession I hope they will see more of their customers dropping service with this greedy, uncaring company.
