My windshield cracked yesterday so I called Progressive to see about filing a claim to get it fixed. As it turns out, the cost of the repair was less than my deductible, so we opted to close the claim. Through the whole process, the agent I was speaking to was very friendly, and at the end of the process he even transferred me over to Safelite Auto Glass for a quote on repairs, which turned into an even better experience (read my other review posted today on that one).
I realize this was a small claim, and it was one that Progressive wound up not even losing any money on, so that may explain why it all went so smoothly, but I feel like sometimes we need to see some of the helpful sides of the companies we hear so much negative reviews for.
There's still some helpful people out there, even if the typical experience is a nightmare, right!?!
