Electrolux Informative - Electrolux Stainless French Door Refrig Ice Maker Problems
I purchased a stainless french door Electrolux refrig, and from day one, the ice maker did not work correctly. After two different service companies came out, and the second tech replaced the ice maker with a brand new one, I asked for compensation. They are refunding the full amount of the refrigerator.
While I was on hold with Electrolux, I went online and found that a class action lawsuit is underway for this refrigerator. Clearly it is cheaper for Electrolux to refund the individual money than to lose a class action suit. Personally, I do not want to enter into any type of law suit and am so happy that Electrolux is refunding me the full $2800.00. Tax and installation are not included in the refund. I have to have the refrig removed myself.
If you have purchased this refrig and are having problems, call Electrolux and ask for mangement and ask for compensation.
At first they wanted to send another repair person out. So you do have to insist. But I was stunned to have the management person offer full compensation without an argument of any kind!
