Hobbytron.com Complaint - Poor quality items and useless return policy

Review by larryf on 2010-12-25
I should of looked for reviews ahead of time as well. It is Christmas morning and out of the 6 airsoft guns I bought, 4 pistols do not fire at all and one rifle already has a small part broken. The return policy is a joke in that it says if the items are defective find a manufacturer number and talk to them. A good lesson to check reviews of online stores you aren't familiar with. Luckily my kids are old enough to joke about this, but I think we will have more fun smashing the guns to bits than shooting with them.

This is the case with some items. One that comes to mind is certain kiddie pools sold by TRU, I believe. Once you use it, you own it, and the manufacturer gets involved if there is any defect.

In principle, I don't see a problem with this policy for air guns. I think your complaint might be more appropriately aimed at the manufacturer for making junk.
