Hewlett-Packard Company Complaint - Touchsmart

Complaint
Review by curt331 on 2010-12-26
I purchased an HP 840 touchsmart (Vista) with the windows 7 upgrade option. Initially I was impressed with the machine. When windows 7 came out I acquired my upgrade from HP. To my surprise the touchsmart software did not have the same functionality. Specifically the ability to re-size the windows under the touchsmart program was missing. HPP said it did not work under Win 7. Any smart-phone allows this why not Win 7. Then HP brings out a new version of the touchsmart software, but my computer will not run the new software. Also recipe box will not run on my version without a lot of work. On top of this there is no driver, except Win 7 basic, for my printer PSC 2510. Consequently, HP solution center will not use the advanced options available for my printer. The only conclusion I have is that HP does not support its customers. I can not recommend to any one that they buy HP no matter how advanced the software and computer.
