Spirit Airlines Complaint - Disappointed - Customer Service
A lot of people were put out by the storm that hit the Philadelphia area this week. Spirit canceled my flight but never updated the online information and I had to call India to get no service from them. I was told my flight that was supposed to fly on the 27th was canceled and they could not get me another flight until the 31st.
I explained my medications were gone and I needed assistance getting home but their answer was sorry, the 31st. They did not try to get me another flight from another airport and did not offer any other suggestions on how to overcome my problem.
I am in the customer service field and my boss would never allow a customer to be left hanging out on their own with no help. I am very disappointed in their lack of help and they will never get another dime of my money. I canceled my ticket, went on line and found an alternative on my own. Bad job Spirit, in such a competitive field customer service can make or break a company. As much money as they are making during this holiday season, you would think they would spend a few dollars to keep what customers they have.
