Matrix Investment Corp. Informative - Consumer Beware - Mortgage Company

Review by IHMC on 2005-03-30
GROTON, CONNECTICUT -- I did some research about Matrix Investment Corp. in Groton, CT, before applying for my Mortgage and found some very disturbing facts. This company is involved in many law suits. You can do your own research and find out a lot about this company before you trust them with your mortgage, at www.searchsystems.net, from the home page select CT, then select civil/family court records by name, then type Matrix Investment and then make your own judgment on what type of company this is.

The problem with Matrix did not lay with the lead Broker it was with the attorney he hired from outside the company who was the lead cause for these unfortunate events. This attorney is no longer a part of said corportaion and issues have been resolved.

I worked for this company and the problems were not with the atty it was with the broker who was also the CEO. He had serious cash flow problems and then made it so that he was the only person in the company that could approve a wire or sign a check. Many bills and other debts were not paid because he refused to okay them. They attorney that you speak of does have his own practice but was also at the same time a regular employee of Matrix. He was not to blame as he only did what the broker/ceo told him to do.
