Al's Transmission Compliment - Al's Transmission on Leadbetter Rd. in Ashland, VA. 23005

ASHLAND, VIRGINIA -- In early March I paid Al's Transmissions $1,100.00 to put in a rebuilt transmission in my 2003 Chevy S10 pickup truck. Al put in a transmission and it was not right. I took the truck back up to Al's and he kept it for three weeks and said there was nothing wrong with it. While Al had the truck, he put between 300 and 350 miles on it and drained the gas tank. On December 7th the truck broke down. On the 8th of December it was towed up to Al's. They kept the truck for 20, yes 20 days. He will not warranty the new transmission for a year, but only until the old transmission install date, sometime in March. If he put in a good transmission this time, warranting it for a year should not be an issue for him. Also, the straps that hold the tailgate up, are broken. We showed him and he will not own up to it. Beware, you have been warned.
