Spirit Airlines Complaint - Customers Treated Like Hostages
Due to the east coast storm of 2010 it's understandable there would be flight issues but this takes the cake.
I called Spirit on many occasions to get an update on my flight. After talki g to someone in India who has no idea there is a storm that's affecting half the country, I decide to take my chances at the airport. I had also checked auto updates on-line and on the phone that advised me my flight is happening on time. I go to the airport. Flight is delayed by two hours. When they finally begin boarding, they tell us to hussle on or the plane will be delayed and we won't be able to take off till 9:30. What?
Plane takes off, we're charged for everything (which is supposed to be acceptable since the flight was cheap...right), we land and have been sitting on the Tarmac for the past half hour waiting for a gate that will take us.
Its not worth the cheap ticket price. Pay more for a better experience. I would give someone $100 to get me out of this tin can.
