Hewlett-Packard Company Compliment - Hard drive Replacement
I called HP on December 23 because my computer kept freezing. I informed the person what I had done to rectify the issue, and he asked me a few more questions. He determined that a test needed to be run to check the hard drive and scheduled a follow-up call about two hours later since the tests can take some time.
Two hours later I received the follow-up call and told the person what was on my screen. The hard drive on my computer had died. He placed an order for a replacement and asked if I needed the recovery disks. I did.
The HP representative said he was placing the order with overnight delivery, but with the holidays, it could take an extra day or two.
The replacement arrived the next day with clear instructions. My biggest hassle was finding a little screw driver which is my fault.
