Review by homeless7 on 2005-03-31
PONCA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- i got behind bottom line ameriquest said they would work with me the notified me of the date of foreclosure i went no foreclosure it had been cancelled i was never notified of a new court date. i offered ameriquest 30000.00 incash way more money than i was behind and more than half of what my loan was they refused then i learned the house had been foreclosed on and ameriquest had bought it for 50050.00 no one else would bid on it it was over appraised . i went to the confirmation of the sheriffs sale and i had 51000.00 in cash (plus there attorney was 1hour and 15 minutes late and the judge wouldn"t hear me ) bottom line ameriquest refused judge favored ameriquest. i even had the home appraised before i went it only appraised at 30000.00.now i am looking for somewheere to live and move my business i have to move fast because ameriquest has sent an order to the sheriff of a writ to assist which only gives me 72 hours to move

What they did is what they should of done which is foreclose, you were behind on your bills, they need to make money too. and there was no reason for you to be behind on your payment when you had that kinda money.

Ex-ameriquest employee needed

Kathleen in Alabaster, alabama = Not everyone who worked at AMC was a heartless, greedy criminal.

I am sorry for what you have gone through with Ameriquest.

In response to your question; "that i must have seen fraud every day of the 5yrs i worked there."

That is a very bold assumption on your part!! I'm glad you feel you're the "moral compass" for all remarks made here about AMC from ex-employees. Just because I was once employed there Has nothing to do with my integrity.
Believe it or not when I started 7 yrs ago, I started working in an office full of honest sales reps, processors, and managers.
The same honesty and concern for customers that I learned in my 1st office, are the same practices i carried with me and held my staff to, in all my years of management.

Up until there was a change in management, The change of the CEO from Kirk to Wayne. I never saw or heard of any misdoings, Maybe I was naive to assume that the other associates had the same integrity as myself, my staff, and the managers, and sales reps who trained me.

You have NO IDEA of what I began to hear, and then see with my own eyes once Kirk left his position as CEO.

I am of the belief that if you work your butt off, and try harder each time you fall, you will be successful. The very minute I had evidence to back up my claims made to HR, I filed the report.
It blew my mind how people could be such criminals. Once the fraud started to cross the west coast like wild fire, I had already voiced my opinion, and was going through my own Hell created by AMC

I kept my ears and eyes open, and collected a good stack of information to back up my claims.

I was retaliated against and threatened and scared to the point, I tried to kill myself, which is the reason for my hospital stay.
I'm not a lunatic or a drama case. I just had reached my breaking point and wanted to escape.
once I had my mind a bit more clear, I started to research, and try to figure out what AMC had to hide, Why they were so concerned with shutting me up.
The threats kept on coming even while I was on medical leave, hired thugs showing up at my house looking for me. I had a total mental breakdown.

The facts I uncovered as I researched were so horrible, it made me sick to my stomach that I ever worked there. I did not want their dirty money...even if I worked hard for it. when my issues with AMC were resolved, I put a good amount of money towards helping AMC customers who had been screwed, like the families in florida who were led to believe that they had home owners insurance.......only to find out too late they did not have a policy in place. After 5 hurricains demolished their homes.......Many families had been misled, and had no insurance and no means to rebuild or repair homes, or to move.

I am not looking for a pat on the back....

I hope this helps to clarify your assumptions of my time spent at amc.
