JCPenney Complaint - Online order gone bad - 12/29/10. . . still nothing.
My order was due to arrive 12/20. I understand delays and kept checking. It did not arrive before Christmas. Today is 12/29 and it has still not arrived. I have been told various stories regarding my order which was all available and in stock when the order was placed at least 10 days before Christmas. I am writing here since I am unable to find a private contact for this issue at JCPenney Corporate posted on the internet.
I will be cancelling my order tomorrow and will never shop JCPenney again. The daily calls placed to the local store proved to present different excuses as to why the items in my order had not materialized.
I called a national number I found associated with catalog/online sales and they could not understand why the order was not shipped.
I have heard:
1. your order is in route.
2. it was not on the truck.
3. it is waiting for an unavailable item. (note: all items available when I ordered)
4. call back tomorrow.
5. blah. blah. blah.
I am done with JCPenney. I will spend elsewhere and will share this unprofessional experience with friends and family. My adult children, are well aware of the poor customer service relating to this issue. They are up and coming - future consumers.
