T-Mobile Complaint - T-Mobile will steal your cell phone number!
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- In January 2005 I called and talked with a phone rep about opening an account. At the end of the long discussion, over one hour, I stated VERY CLEARLY that I did not want to complete the transaction.
The following week, my cell phone stopped working and when I tried to contact the cellular company I have been with for many years, I was not able to do so on my cellular phone. Imagine my surprise when I called from a land line later that morning and was informed my cell phone number had been transfered to T-Mobile!
I explained I did not want this and my long time cellular company helped me get my account straightened out and my number transferred back within 24 hours... but for the past 2 months I have been in constant battle with the T-Mobile billing department.
I have called them at least 10 times and explained each and everytime what happened. The reps are uncaring, unhelpful, and liars. Everytime I call I am promised someone will look into the matter and credit my account but so far no one has kept their word.
I am going to write a long letter with copies of all my documentation for my state attorney general's office to file a complaint about this horrible company and their consumer rip-off policies!
Don't do business with T-Mobile... don't even call their phone number. They will steal your cell phone number and then charge you for it!
