DirecTV Inc Complaint - Consumer Complaint - Customer Service And Timely Repair Response
I've been a DirecTV loyal customer since 2004. It seems every time I require a technician to come out it takes at least 3 working days for a techn. to come out, not to mention time off of work. No television for 3 days, as big a company that direcTV is, you would think that they would have a techn. person out a. s.a. p.., but no.....When calling to notify of a proplem you are usually speaking to some one in another state, clear across the country. Speaking to a supv. is futile; they promise to call back to see if they can move you up the list in order to get a techn. out sooner and they don, t call back, sad, very sad. What ever happened pleasing the customer, customer satisfaction. I have the premium package and most of the channels are advertisements, advertisements!!!!!!Useless entertainment. I was under the impression that if you have the "PREMIUM PACKAGE" at $130.98 mind you, that you would receive a just about everything, there are about 5 channels in hd, that I don, t receive- Sony channel, MGM channel, Smithsonian channel, etc. etc.. When I call to inquire, well your going to have to pay more. I have their "PREMIUM PACKAGE"!!!!It, s the wait for the techn. that really bothers me. When they say they will compensate it is only a couple of dollars and also the price increases, "unbelievable", then if and when the techn. comes out and corrects the problem there could be an additional charge for say a replacement of a strip of cable, threaded between a sliding glass door. $75.00, but like I said 3 to 4 days with out service is too long of a wait. I hope that someone from DirecTV is reading these complaints, because it does no good to speak to an array of csr;s and supv;s they are useless with alternatives or customer satisfaction. I work as a customer service representative and if I told a customer they would have to wait for a certain commodity or utility they would be in arms about that!!!!Well I feel a little better now that I, ve gotten this of my chest I, ll really have to now consider another cable or satellite service other than DirecTV................... P. S.the movie channels, same thing over and over, more so comedy than anything else.
