Franklin House of Pizza Complaint - Rude and horrible customer service

FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS -- I called for some general questions. When I asked my first question, the guy on the other end of the line said to me(and I quote) "I'm busy. Can you call back later?", and then hung up. I didn't even have time to get a response it. It alll happened so fast. Truly horrible customer service and I will never do business with this company ever again.

I don't think he should have hung up on you like that, but he did sound as if he was extremely busy. Maybe he was the only one there, and that's why he didn't have time for you.

Did you call back like he asked you to? Calling back might be better, then being left on eternal hold.

It's New Years Day--ball games and pizza go together and I bet they were swamped. It's peak time now.

He should have been a little nicer about it. I bet he has more to do than time to do it today, and if you just were asking for information I can understand him needing to keep working.

Looked at from one angle, all that was missing from the conversation was for him to pause, let you say "OK, I will, bye" and then he saying "bye".

I agree! that's high on my list of customer service pet peeves... customer in front of you is infinitely more important than whomever is on the phone

I had something like that happen to me at a Subway several years ago. I was calling to place an order for myself and my coworkers and they guy on the other end said they were too busy to take my order.

well, put yourself in the CSR's shoes - you have a store full of customers who have been waiting and then someone calls on the phone to place an order - who would you 'serve' first?

I googled this pizza place and found their Facebook page, which includes hours, location, and a menu.

What were you looking for?

And when my kids talk me into Domino's instead of my preferred local pizza place, I quote to them, "Thank you for calling Domino's. Can you hold?"

Pizza places can get busy. Especially on a Saturday/holiday/bowl game day. The web has made it very easy for customers to find out info before calling or visiting a restaurant.

Have you done business with them before? Sometimes the poor customer relations with some mom and pop pizza shops is more than made up for it in good food. I always see these places staffed by human beings, not servants. There are a lot of others pizza shops for you to go to.
