Lucas Smith Dodge Complaint - Journey
FESTUS, MISSOURI -- I have a 2009 Dodge Journey that I purchased new, I have less then 35,000 miles on the vehicle and it has been in the shop a total of 11 times with problems since my purchase. I usually leave the vehicle while being serviced, however I did use one of their loaner cars once a 1997 Dodge Neon. My last visit I had to have my vehicle towed to the shop a few days before my hoilday trip which is 7 hours away from my home. I was told it would need to be there at least 3-4 days. I was surprised when I got a call the very next day saying my vehicle was ready. After driving it one day I had to have it inspected again. It was the day before of my trip, it was still not running right. At this time I decided to drive a few different new vehicles to possibly trade mine in, as I have been having so much trouble with it. During this time mine is being rechecked, the weather was not the greatest outside however our salesman went ahead and brought a car and heated it up for me to test drive. I was walking out to the vehicle and fell flat on my back on the ice that was still on the parking lot. It completely knocked the wind out of me! My husband ran to my side and helped me up, I had to laugh to keep the tears away and I continued to drive the vehicle. Upon returning back inside the dealership, I was never asked if I was doing ok, if I would like a drink of water? Nothing! There were at least three persons who saw me fall that worked at the dealership. We continued to wait for my vehicle to be finished as this was the day of my trip out of town. Our salesman was to run some numbers on other new vehicles for us, we left and had to call this salesman over 3-4 times over the next several days as he was not getting back to us. My complaint is 1. They really can not help me with my problem about my vehicle needing so much work with such little miles. No knowledge about the lemon law. 2. They offer me a 1997 Dodge Neon to drive, a 14 year old vehicle. I have a almost $30,000.00 dollar vehicle that the are working on! To me that is an insult. 3. Lack of compassion for my well being after falling on their parking lot. 4. Poor customer and service.
