Nassau Inn, Princeton, NJ Compliment - Nassau Inn, Quite Nice
PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY -- We stayed at the Nassau Inn in Princeton, NJ from December 30th to January 2nd and found it to be very satisfactory, over all. The establishment and room were clean and nicely appointed in a colonial style; the location is in the center of Princeton with restaurants and shopping within walking distance; the room service was prompt and the food & coffee hot; the staff (all of them) were helpful, courteous, and friendly; and the bed was great (plenty of pillows, warm, suitable for any activity including sleep!) The base price is $200 a night ($179 with 21 day advance. Look out for NJ lodging taxes-they're high). The restaurant, The Yankee Doodle Tap room, serves very good sandwiches and our lunch ran us about $30. Dinner might be a bit more and breakfast a touch less. The business center is equipped with 5 terminals, a printer, and a larger printer/copier (I wasn't paying all that much attention when I was working in there) that are available for guest for a 15-30-60 minute period of time with a fee (I think it was $5.95 for 15 minutes). The only problem we had was the lighting in the rooms is not very bright since we had no over head light and the bath emptied too slowly. The staff was outstanding and we will stay here again when we are in town. It gets my recommendation, for what that's worth!
