J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Complaint - Purchased Sleigh Bed
Feb 21, 2005 - Purchased a sleigh bed (or so I thought...) I was advised that the model I wanted was out of stock. No biggy. I could wait a few more weeks.
Early March: Contacted Customer service. Shipment from Asia is still pending. wait another 2 weeks
Mid March: Same results - they said wait until April. I send an email to customer service in order to document my plight.
I receive an email advising me of the above, and an offer of an $50.00 gift certificate if I don't cancel my order - and contigent upon the receipt of the non existent furniture.
April: Still no furniture. I call customer service again & Send email - requesting information and a reality check of when this furniture is to arrive. Customer service response? To wait for May.
I'm now forced to shop around once again. I don't recommend anyone shop at JC Pennys for furniture unless they're ready for a 4 month wait.
