Card Holder Services Complaint - Why does Card Holder Services keep calling me?
For the past two weeks I've been receiving calls from this company. I'm not even sure if it's a company at all, but they call me between 1 and 6 times a day. That's a little excessive.
The call starts with an automated message. "There is currently no problem with your credit card." That's good because I don't even have one. "Press 9 to speak with an agent and lower your interest rate to 6.9% APR." How about I press 9 to ask them to take my number off whatever list has them calling me daily?
You'd think that would work right? Wrong. I did this approximately two weeks ago (shortly after the calls started) and have still been receiving phone calls from them on my Prepaid Cellphone. It's the same number every time and most times I don't answer. However, last night by accident I pressed answer instead of reject and again pressed 9 to ask the agent to take my number off of their list. He promptly HUNG UP on me. I tried calling the number to see if I could speak with a manager or supervisor or something, but it won't go through.
Any suggestions? Has anyone else been having this problem? Isn't this harassment? What can I do?
PS: I'm not even sure how they got my number but this is frustrating and annoying!
