Priceline.com Complaint - Will NEVER use Priceline again!!
I recently reserved a room with Priceline for 3 nights. At app. 4pm the day I was to have checked in for my 3 night stay, I had a death in the family and was not going to be able to make the trip. I called Priceline immediately to attempt to work out a solution with them. They were not willing to help whatsoever!!! They wanted to know the info to the funeral home, which is understandable, however, the death has just occurred and no arrangements had been made, therefore there was no info to give them. I was even told that if I attempted to contact them later in the evening after arrangements had been made, that it would be too late to get a refund.
I even attempted to get them to just credit my account and I would book with Priceline in the future, no success!!! I had more important things to worry about and had to move on. In the past when booking trips with Orbitz, they have worked with me in emergency situations. From this point forward, I will book with no one but Orbitz!
I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH PRICELINE AGAIN AS LONG AS I LIVE!!! Very disappointed with customer service that, without a doubt, was coming from India!!
