adam hirsch auctioners Complaint - shipping on posters

Review by carm on 2005-04-04
WASHINGTON -- My daughter won a bid on 7 posters from Adam Hersch that added up to 7 dollars for the posters themselves, 8 dollars for insurance, and she was charged $25 for postage. All seven posters were rolled and put into ONE tube. They charged her about 19 extra dollars that they did not use specifically on shipping. She had no idea that they were going to use only 6 dollars to send all the posters in one tube - she thought that they were going to send her multiple tubes.
This is fraudulent, deceitful, and dishonest business. They said they use a business to do their shipping, henceforth the charge for supplies, and "labor." Yet, if you buy one poster, the shipping is about 6 or seven dollars. How is that paying for the services they employ?

I have bought from them and tink it is a good value even at inflated shipping cost I am certain they have the terms of sale posted with each item also as a lot of folks they are avoiding confiscatory E-Bay fees yet insuring a good price for the item. suond like sour grapes you need to be a better consumer
