Hughes net Complaint - No Customer Service!!!
CALIFORNIA -- I have made 3 different appointment dates for Hughes Net installers to come out and install their equipment. I still don't have equipment installed. The first time I called they tried to make an appointment with me on the date I had a dental appointment in a distant town. I told them I had to leave my house at noon for the appointment. I was told they would be there between 7 and 8 AM, but they never showed. I left my home at 11:30 AM and they still hadn't called. At noon, while I was enroute to my dental appointment they called on my cell phone and said they were outside my gate. I reminded them what they had been told about my dental appointment. They made another appointment on 1/7 didn't show or call. They did the same thing on 1/8. They were supposed to be at my place at 2 PM, didn't call or show. I would advise anyone wanting satellite TV to go to Wild Blue or some other company that has competent installers. I don't know what's wrong with Hughes Net installers, but they need to be replaced. You are better off keeping your dial-up than putting up with this run around.
