Best Buy Compliment - Best Buy makes it right!
For having a Best Buy Rewards card, I was sent a $10 reward gift certificate for Christmas. In about mid December I purchase a used videogame. About 5 days later, they canceled my order due to the videogame no longer being available. I went back online to find another one and the original videogame I had wanted was still listed as being available on the website. I called customer service and although I was on the phone with them for about 30 minutes after all was said and done, the man that I spoke with (I do not remember his name) was wonderful. He apologized profusely for the confusion and helped me reorder this same videogame. About 5 days later, my order was again canceled due to this videogame no longer being available. Frustrated, and with the expiration date of the certificate now getting closer, I called customer service. I spoke with another man after about 20 minutes of holding who was equally as nice. He was able to speak with a manager who said they would send me a new gift certificate with a new expiration date. The very next day I received an email from Best Buy with a new gift certificate with an expiration date in April.
Thank you Best Buy for meeting my expectations to resolve this issue!
