Dodge Complaint - What kind of product are you manufacturing?
RUSSELL SPRINGS, KENTUCKY -- In December of 2006 we purchased our 05 Dodge 1500 with a 4.7 liter engine at the Dodge dealership in london, ky who is now bankrupt. I was told that this truck would pull my 3 horse gooseneck horse trailer perfectly fine. well it the mileage gage says we were getting 2 miles per gallon when towing a 2 hr bumper pull with one horse in it then in October 2009 the engine blew up at 90,oo0 miles while towing a two horse trailer and no horse in it. I had my oil changes done at 3000 miles every time and had taken the truck in to the dealer several times with the complaint of it not running like it should be, so one tiem it was an oxygen sensor and another time no problem found then the next time I took it in they ahd shut the doors and filed bank rupt. I bought the Dodge based on my sons 1086 Dodge v-10 engine which ran until was in an accident at 350k miles but sorry to say my gas engine didn't even make it to 1k miles and cost me $3500 to get the engine replaced. and the ford motor company makes a very nice vehichle but are proven to jump out of gear and I was ran over when this happened to one of m husbands f-250 manual transmission trucks. in June 2007, so I can only be lead to believe that my next purchase will definitely be a Chevy truck and it will be an allisson automatic transmission and a deisel. so very disappointed in my Dodge truck what a let down.
