Comcast Corporation Complaint - Internet Price Increase
Resolution Update on 01/23/2011:
I called at least one more time after this review and also chatted online with some one about it. They both said to call back when the promo was about to end which was in a couple weeks. I hadn't called back yet but today, I was able to view my bill on-line and I was given a new promo price of 24.99 (only $5 more than what I was paying) again, good for 6 months. Thank you Comcast for helping me remain one of your valued customers.
Six months ago, I wrote a positive review about Comcast extending my internet promotion price of 19.99 per month. Well, the 6 months is over again. I called and talked to two different people and both said they can not extend my promotion because they no longer have the $19.99 promotion. My new internet price will be 49.99 according to first person or according to the second person, I can get a new promotion for 29.99. Funny thing is, when I go on the internet to the Comcast site and type in my address, they still offer the 19.99 promotion so I am being given false information. I told both people to keep it the same for now since I have two more weeks on my current promotion. I did not tell either person that I see the $19.99 promotion still being offered. I also see the $29.99 promotion I was offered. I'm going to look for another internet provider.
