Coinstar Informative - Coinstar A Great Company!! - change into cash

change into cash
Review by lifechanger on 2011-01-10
BELLEVUE, WASHINGTON -- Well first of all I would like to say that Coinstar is one of the greatest invention since air conditioning!! They allow you to use the machine (yes for a small fee) but instead of rolling all that change, you just pour it into the machine after selecting a few easy to read directions which takes all of 1 minute at the most) wait for it to count your money (which it does acurately)and then you wait for your voucher to turn into customer service. Coinstar does offer a few alternatives other than getting cash, you can pour your change free if you get one of the selected gift cards or in store credit at some retailers!! If you have any trouble with any machine there are managers whom can help with this process, they will be glad to accommodate you in any way! Go to Coinstar.com to find a location near you is what I did and it turned out to be a great exsperience for me!! I hope this helps...

I love them too; I always opt for the Amazon card and the machine's fees are waived. Good review.

It seems like the people who have problems using it are in a hurry, scared someone will see them using it etc.. if they would take time to read they would see its a great thing! also I was in line one time and the user behind me had alot of nasty coin, I told him it would take it but he said how they gone kno lol I said because all that mess will tear the machine up and make it unusable to the next in line, he eventually got embarrassed and left! Its time we take a stand for our service providers! I have always believed that if we treat them right and use the services wisely then we will not have to pay as much when they do go up in pricing!! do you all agree??

Good information, but you know what I do? Being a rabid pro-environment bank hugger, I use my credit card for 99% of purchases. As a consequence, when someone asks me if I can spare my loose change, I honestly reply "I don't have any, but do you accept Visa?" One of day soon the answer will be "Yes".

That day will probably be tomorrow trm, lol. Then they'll tell you, oh sorry, only accepting Mastercard today.
