Judgment Acquisitions Unlimited Complaint - Bad Experience-Beware!

Review by RTrayes on 2011-01-11
AVON, MASSACHUSETTS -- In 2006 we gave 5 cases to this collector after he solicited us. We signed a contract that he would collect from former tenants on our behalf. The contract stated we will receive 50% of all collected funds and quarterly collection updates. We received exactly 2 updates, 1 in 2006, the other in 2008. We also found out we received 0 % of a $2,955.98 court judgment which the collector reported to the court as satisfied nearly one year ago. He has many excuses (simple accounting error, the constable pocketed the money) and a lot of nerve (including e-mailing me that he is withholding our share unless I apologize and retract our BBB complaint). I was in court for this issue in December 2010, he did not show up, so we received a judgment by default for less than we probably should get since he never disclosed the total amount the former tenant paid and also omitted it from the Notice of Satisfaction he remitted to the court. Beware! Unless you want to collect from this collector, use another agency!

This posting is clearly harassing and unfounded. This client was paid in full in February 2011 and has no basis. It is a clear smear campaign from a former debtor. I guess you can say anything you want about anyone. I refuse to stoop to her level. For the real story, please call me directly at 781-589-0735.
