Sears Complaint - If you order from Sears.com be prepared to get bambozzled
I ordered 5 pairs of shoes in 2 separate orders / 3 separate shipping packages. I received order confirmations and shortly threafter shipping notifications. When I received one pair of shoes on a date much different that shipment was supposed ot be I called to cehck on the status of my other items. They had UPS tracking numbers, they were in stock and my charge card was definitely charged but when I called customer service they said that they may be running low on inventory or they might never ship if they run out before they send out your order and there is nothing they can do to help me. Not cancel my order, not refund my money, not re-order them to a store so I can pick them up and not even offer to send me a rebate or e-mail me a gift card so I can get the goods I intended on getting from them via mail. My money is tied up in a purchase that I may never get and if they don't release the product from its shipment status it will remain in limbo. I can't afford to go buy the shoes I need for my new job when my $$ is in limbo at Sears.com and no one can tell me if and when I will ever get my packages. No help, no accountability, no nothing. I will NEVER shop at Sears again. I contacted customer service via live chat, e-mail and 55 minutes on the phone and I emailed Imran. NADA, no help, no answers, no product and no $$. NOTHING!!! They said it can be 7-10 business days before they find out what has happened if they don't ship prior to that. I find this unacceptable and who is held accountable??? All I know is I am the one who loses in this scenario. Wish I would have taken my business elsewhere.
