Priceline.com Complaint - Customer Service Reps Don't Address My Issues and Do Not Have Supervisors Available to Respond When Requested
Normally, Priceline was the best and Priceline's, Name Your Own Price feature was great. When booking a trip this week, Priceline would indicate what prices I should bid to have my offers (hotel, car and airfare) accepted. When I used their suggested bid amounts, they were repeatedly declined and prices went up considerably. After doing this numerous times, I notified Priceline Customer Service. Sadly, they did not address my problem or concerns. It appears that they use preprinted (canned) "scripts" that give general overviews of related topics. I asked for a supervisor to address. Only Customer Service Specialists (Moinuddin K. and Brijesh M) signed off on these responses. I will now use other services such as Hotwire. In these transactions, they were very responsive and went beyond the call of duty to assist me. They have people on the phone and their phone customer service understood my issues, concerns. They were exceptional.
