Hollywood Entertainment Corporation Complaint - I am very dissatisfied with your services.
I am a member of your services. I should say I was a member of your services until today. I recently went to one of your locations and discovered that I needed to get membership at that store even though I already had membership at one of your other locations. I find it very ridiculous that I have to get new membership at every store I want to rent videos at when I'm already a member. I was treated very rudely by one of your representatives when I wasn't able to produce the documents he needed for the membership. Let me clarify, he asked for an i.d and a utility bill in my name. I just moved and had no utility bill in my name yet. I was able to give him a phone statement with my old phone number but new address. The sales associate asked me why the phone numbers on my application and the old phone bill didn't match. Let me say that he was very rude about the way he was acting, insinuating that I was lying about my application. I have no need to lie about anything andhis accusation upset me very much. He later told me that I could proceed with the application minus the utility bill if I had a credit card. I am very weary about giving my credit card to anyone no matter how safe it might be. The way I see it complanies need people not the other way around. If you are providing a service, you should have better customer service skills. I went to your store even though you don't have any membership rewards like Blockbuster does. You don't offer anything better that the competitor and I still went to your store. Let it be know that was the last time I ever go there or to any of your stores to rent videos.

I believe I deserve an apology. I was dismayed at how unfairly I was treated.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
