Chase Home Finance Complaint - Chase won't talk with customers or respond to voice mail
COLUMBUS, OHIO -- I began an effort in June 2010 to transfer my mortgage into my living trust as a single woman. Finally rec'd a printed instruction of what would need to be submitted for this action. Along with the documents they required, I sent a personal check for $100 as stated in their instructions. Many, many phone calls later I have decided they will never make this change for me so I have decided to drop the effort and wrote a factual letter and included a copy of my check requesting a refund. Today I rec'd a letter from them asking that I send a letter from my bank verifying my check. This is truly a stretch of imagination, never before has anyone asked for this kind of verification. Another type of delay, don't you think??
Phone calls to their customer service number are totally a waste of time. They are unable to answer any questions and will only tell you they cannot transfer the call to anyone else. The only option is they will send an email to the person that is assigned to your action and they in turn will call you. Guess what, never a return call came to me.
One individual in the assumption department, was very cordial on the phone but could not give me any assistance except transfer my call to an AVP in the name change department. I left several voice mails on Ms. ____phone, yet again never a return call.
This is customer service terrorism! How can an organization the size and scope of Chase treat customers with such disdain and continue to function?
