EBay Complaint - Don't buy from Ebay
I bought an antique clock on Ebay this past September, 2010. When I received the clock, UPS smashed the clock in transit. I immediately contacted the seller, who stated he would contact UPS as soon as I sent him an estimate to repair the damage. I got an estimate and sent him a copy by mail. I never heard from him again. I contacted eBay who gave me his email address & phone no. I contacted the seller several times and still received no help in getting UPS to repair the clock. I have contacted eBay to find out if I had any options. Contacting anyone through eBay is one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had. Every effort to contact them sends you in a loop. Finally I found a way to have a live chat with Ebay, but the employee was rude, unhelpful and ended the chat after telling me I had no options--basically I had been been taken. So that will be the last time I have anything to do with this company or anyone who sells through them.
