Lowe's Complaint - Poor Service
SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS -- I purchased a Whirlpool front load washer from Lowes in Springfield mass, the price was marked down due to repair. I was told it was repaired and worked fine. I was also told that Whirlpool does not cover warranty on repaired appliances. The salesman also gave me a two year extended warranty for this reason. When delivered they never made sure it worked properly and I went to use it and it would not start. I troubled shooted on the phone with Whirlpool customer support. They made an appointment for a repair man to come out and look at it. After I called Lowes and the guy in the applaince department was very rude and did not want to help me. All he said he can come and get it or have someone look at it. I hung up and called back and asked to speak to a manager he seem to do nothing said they could come and get it to have it looked at or I could get something else that was in the back that was also dammaged or repaired equalivent to my washer or price. I am so shocked and appalled that a store of that popularity, promotes customer service, would do something as to sell an applaince not repaired!!! They never mentioned how long it was used for. I found out it was over 6 months old!!!!
