Tree Classics Complaint - Poor customer service
LAKE BARRINGTON, ILLINOIS -- Purchased a Christmas Tree and storage bag from Tree Classics on Nov 20, 2010 for $392.33. When setting up the tree we discovered that there was an electrical short in the lights, I was burned on the wrist as a result, and we promptly called to make arrangements to return the products. UPS picked up both items on Dec 7, 2010 and we received proof of return delivery to their showroom on Dec 9, 2010. To date, we have not received any refund and when we attempted to call to speak with a customer service representative we were treated to a recorded message stating that they have closed for the season and will not reopen until April 1, 2011. We were never informed that they closed for the season and the website provides no information regarding closing either. We have no recourse at this point yet they have their merchandise and our $392.33. Needless to say, we are very disappointed in our decision to purchase from Tree Classics.
