Ashley Furniture Complaint - Worst Customer Service
PATCHOGUE NY -- Horrible Horrible HOrrible Customer Service From the sales, trucking, customer service. Corporate was the only one who helped a little.
Purchased furniture and had to wait 3 weeks for a delivery date. The trucking company couldn't carry the furniture up my small flat driveway. Finally made it in my house and broke my door and ceiling. Damaged both pieces of furniture that was suppose to be delivered. The truck drivers got aggressive when we wanted to note on the bill that the furniture wasn't placed where it was suppose to and they damaged the house. They tried to force us to sign a waiver of liabilty AFTER they damaged our house and thankfully we read what we were signing and refused.
Customer Service Protocol calls for the drivers to call them to get approval to leave furniture behind not it is intended location. These drivers did not.
Called Customer Service the following day on Monday and they blamed me for not iforming them a day before when I didn't even know they were opened. Customer Service Rep made me cry. They always promised to call back and never did. After 3 days of calling and showing up in the store with no avail I called corporate and only then did I get action. Ashley's trucking company called me and informed me that they would be picking up the furniture. ASHLEY still to this day has not called and apologize.
Waited two weeks and they only decided to process the credit two weeks after they picked up the furniture and they said it will take 3-4 weeks to take affect.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!
