Frontier Communications Complaint - FIOS TV Rate Increase
Well, I got one of the infamous letters from Frontier today stating that they were increasing the cost of my FiOS TV by $30 per month "due to the increased cost of programming". Of course, they offered to waive any termination fee if I'm in a contract (thank goodness I'm not) and are pushing to convert to DirecTv, who they also have an agreement of some kind with.
I know there's nothing I can do to stop this ripoff. I guess I'm wondering if other TV providers are raising their rates because of a so-called increase in the cose of programming.
I'm in the process of investigating other options. I had DirecTv. It was ok, but I switched to FiOS because DirecTV kept raising rates. The only other company that I am considering is Comcast because I can take my phone and internet there as well. I hate to do that because I've had both of those since the GTE days (pre-Verizon) and hate to think of the hassle of everyone I'll have to notify about a change in e-mail addresses.
I've seen all the comments here about all the providers. But, does one stand out over the others in better service?
