AT&T U-Verse Complaint - AT&T U-Verse Internet headheache

ILLINOIS -- Be aware, do not swtich to U-Verse Internet. The sercie is not reliable and AT& T charges $55 to send a technician to your home to check the Internet service. To avoid the charge you has to be on the line with the U-Verse customer service agent for about 30 minutes to investogate your complaint. Only after this they decide to send or not to send a technician to your home. If they decided not send one, the only option for you is to pay the $55 charge.
Caution: If an AT&T salesperson knock your door; Don't open it!

I have U-Verse and it's certainly not problem free. But I've had no issues with the internet portion, so I can't address that. I was surprised that their customer service was as good as it was when I had TV problems though. I guess I'd assumed I'd get the same level of service on the internet side, but doesn't sound like it.
