NameSecure.com Complaint - DO NOT USE NameSecure.com
I work for a client who had their domain name registered with NameSecure - and I completely agree with you. I would definately warn anyone from using Namesecure's services!!! Namesecure has virtually NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!!!
Here's my story:
My client owns multipe domain names that are directed to a single site/webserver. The company switched hosting providers, thus requiring changes to the nameservers and domain forwarding on these multiple domains. The primary domain name for the account (registered with GoDaddy.com) was updated and it took less than a day for all of the changes to take effect. Great!
When I made the changes to the domain name registered with NameSecure.com - I kept getting an error message. I filled out the support request form on their Web site and proceeded to hunt down a telephone number for them. Through "unconventional means", I found a telphone number for them, which led me to a recorded message stating that all of their customer support is handled via e-mail, and then it hung up on me. I waited 27 hours to receive a response from an actual support rep - but it did not answer my question. I responded to this e-mail according to their procedures and waited almost an entire WEEK before receiving a second response, which still did not completely solve my problem. I then attempted to re-initiate the domain name forward, but there is no status message available for me to know if it even worked. My solution: I am in the process of transferring this domain name to GoDaddy.com.
