Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast just can't deliver
ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA -- I am just so frustrated with Comcast, I could cry. Comcast is the ONLY provider in my neighborhood, so I'm stuck, no matter how awful they are. I started service in August 2010, and have had ongoing problems. I signed up for "triple play" and qualified for an I-pod Touch. I haven't received it yet, even though I've paid my bills on time. I call Comcast every two weeks to check. The latest is that "the vendor has been notified and I should receive the I-Pod in 4 weeks" (as of 12/21/10). It's over 4 weeks, and no I-Pod. I've had problems with HD reception since August and I couldn't get On-Demand until November. I finally got On-Demand in late November. I've been calling about the HD reception, and that finally got fixed yesterday when the technician sent a new signal. But...I lost Comcast On-Demand. I called today to get it restored, and the technician told me to unplug the cable box and the coaxial cable for 30 seconds and then plug in again. He said he'd call in 15 min. to see if On-Demand was restored. It's been an hour. Of course, no call back. I just called and the wait time is between 36 and 52 minutes. This is just unbelievable. Comcast sucks to the max! (I'm 57 years old today, and can't think of any other way to describe the service.) I don't want to move, but am seriously thinking about it, just so I don't have to deal with Comcast any more.
