Microsoft Network (MSN) Complaint - Asherons Call - Dark Majesty
HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- First off let me state that I am not a pimply faced 15 yr old geek that is addicted to online gaming. I am a 40 yr old businessman that enjoys playing Asherons Call for relaxation. I have been a member of the MSN Zone.com for a long time now and have put up patiently with the server problems that seem to plague you. However when I pre-purchased the Dark Majesty upgrade three weeks ago so that I may have it on the 26th of October when it released, I had no idea what kind of frustration was to follow!
I received my copy at 10:00 am on the 26th. When I attempted to install it, I was informed that the servers 'were experiencing unusually high activity' and would I please try again. So I did and have been for the last 21 hours! Now I am told 'all the servers are up' but I still cant get through.
Now I understand that you can't forsee everything, but if this were a restaraunt and I was informed that I wouldnt be served for 21 hours BECAUSE WE DIDNT EXPECT THIS MANY PEOPLE I would never frequent that restaraunt again!
Now why should I remain a loyal customer of the Zone.com? You have never re-imbursed me for all the time I have lost not able to play because you had server problems before...now what?
YOu take my money ontime every month BEFORE I even get to play, then tell me to bad if the zone is down. To borrow from the restaraunt analogy again, if you were to walk into a nice restaraunt and they demanded $10 each BEFORE you even sit down and then come back and tell you dinner is going to be delayed 10-12 hours, how would you feel?
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
I want a reason to stay with MSN Zone.com
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
