Ashley Furniture Complaint - Still waiting.... - accent tables
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE -- I purchased a set of accent tables the day after Thanksgiving. The first attempt to deliver the tables, I received two end tables and only one of the PAIR of bunching tables I ordered. All three of these pieces were scratched. The sofa table was not delivered because it was damaged and I was told they were going to try to fix it at the warehouse. It took me multiple calls to convince Ashley employees that a PAIR means TWO and that I'd like to get my other bunching table. A month later I called the manager of the Brentwood store to inquire about the status of my tables because no one else knew what was going on. Turns out they had had my bunching tables for a while but that they decided to reorder my sofa table and were waiting on that to deliver all of them to me. It would have been nice if some one called me to communicate this instead of me having to wait a month and call numerous times to extract the info. Another month later I finally received my sofa table. It was horribly dented and scratched, I again called the Brentwood store and talked to Chelsea who seemed like she could not care less about all the problems I have had. She told me she'd send someone to look at it and then quickly hung up. I called back and said that I felt it was only right to have the delivery fee refunded. She said she would refund it but I have not seen this reflected on my credit card statement. And so now I'm still waiting to receive my simple order of accent tables in an acceptable condition and I'm still waiting on the company to at least pretend like they care about all the hassle they have put me through.
